Blogger highlight: Neena Nandagopal

Today's Blogger highlight is Neena Nandagopal who has been blogging since 2013 at Almost Practical Productivity Consulting. She blogs 1 to 3 times a week and her main topics are productivity, organizing, blogging and marketing. Occasionally Neena publishes recipes or other more personal type of posts. She points out that it's sometimes hard to stick to one subject and that we are all multi-faceted people. Neena has been blogging since 2007 and then it was a hobby for her. In her own words she "quickly became addicted" with blogging. The blogs she originally started where about family, parenting and technology. Now blogging is important part of Neena's business.

Why do you blog?
"I blog as a way to connect with my customers and potential clients. I also blog to create relationships with other bloggers. Finally, my blog posts are a way of letting the search engines know what I am all about."

For whom do you blog?
"Mostly I blog for my clients who are busy professionals that own their own businesses. I provide information that helps them get organized both online and offline."

How and where do you find subjects and inspiration for blog posts?
"Usually my inspiration comes from things I read, current events, other blogs, and personal experience."

What has been your biggest challenge with blogging?
"Topics. Sometimes I get stuck trying to decide what to write about. The problem usually happens when I think too much about what my audience wants. I have found that the best solution is to create a blogging content schedule - so I know what to write ahead of time."

What has been your greatest success with blogging?
"My greatest success has been meeting some really great people - like yourself. My self confidence as a blogger and a professional has grown through the relationships that I have forged online."

Neena's blogging tips:
"My advice to new bloggers is to write about what you love and let your passion shine through your voice. Don't worry about what other people think and don't compare yourself to other bloggers."

Neena's greetings for You:
"Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post today. Blogging can be both a rewarding and also a frustrating journey. I hope that you find your inspiration through the relationships that you form with others and use your own unique creativity to take your blog to the next level."

Blogger highlight series interviews and introduces different kinds of bloggers all around the world. The bloggers answer a selection of questions about blogging and what it means to them.
